A timeless choice for hand-dyed yarn lovers, this single-ply silk merino is all about softness, drape, and luminous colour.
Spun from fine Australian merino with added silk, this yarn has an exceptionally smooth, silky feel. The single-ply structure gives it a beautiful, fluid drape and allows hand-dyed colours to bloom with depth and subtle tonal variation.
Because it has no twist, this yarn feels extra soft against the skin and is ideal for shawls, wraps, and delicate garments. When paired with silk mohair, it becomes a classic luxury combination — adding strength, halo, and helping to reduce pilling, while creating a rich, elegant fabric.
 
Recommended needle size:
3.5–4.5 mm
Please note: as a single-ply yarn, it should be worked gently. Avoid pulling too tightly while knitting or crocheting, as this type of yarn can break under excessive tension.
