Soft, playful, and irresistibly charming, this merino bouclé is one of our all-time favourites — truly a top-three yarn in the Butterfly studio.
Spun from pure superwash merino, this yarn feels incredibly soft and gentle against the skin, while the tiny boucle loops create a beautifully textured, bouncy fabric. The little curls catch the light and add movement and personality, making even the simplest stitches look special.
Bouclé yarns of this quality are rare, and this one is especially delightful — fluffy without being messy, structured yet wonderfully soft.
One 100g skein is enough to knit a cosy, textured beanie, and it also works beautifully for scarves, cowls, and statement accessories.
 
Recommended needle size:
6.0–8.0 mm
Use larger needles to let the loops shine, or smaller needles for a denser, more sculptural fabric.
