Soft as a cloud and gently refined, this silk alpaca yarn offers a beautifully smooth, matte elegance.
Spun from fine baby alpaca with a touch of silk for strength and drape, this yarn feels incredibly soft in the hand — almost like touching a cloud. Compared to silk mohair, it has a more subtle, matte finish, creating a calm, understated look that is just as luxurious.
It works beautifully held single for light, flowing garments, or held double for a richer, more substantial fabric.
 
Recommended needle size:
4.0–5.5 mm
Use one strand for airy, drapey pieces, or hold two strands together for a thicker, warmer result.
